NOT COMPETITIVE WALK ON PLACES OF MEMORY OF VAJONT

The “Percorsi della Memoria” – “Paths of Memory” – develop along three tracks of varying difficulty and lengths.
The not competitive walk stretches along of roads interrupted or destroyed in the disaster of Vajont which connected the valley of the Piave to the Valcellina and ancient paths that for centuries were the roads on foot for the people of Casso, Erto, Castellavazzo and Longarone.

The “Percorsi della Memoria” are then an evocative step back in time, which go along on historycal tracks such as the old road of Colomber in the Vajont valley, the Trui of Sciarbon and the Troi de Sent’Antoni, the tunnel, the pipe bridge, the Pascoli quarry, the entire top of the dam, and cross the slide of the Toc and the ancient villages of Erto and Casso.
